Exclusive Rivertable with colored epoxy resin

We produced this unusual epoxy resin table as an exclusive rivertable. At the customer's request, we cut the table top made of solid tree trunk wood in the middle and filled the resulting joint with epoxy resin. As a special feature, we colored the epoxy resin blue at one end of the 47,000-year-old Kauri table top and mixed the resin to create a harmonious transition to the crystal-clear resin. At the other end of the table, the course of the river visually "flowed into a lake". Finally, we polished the resin to a high gloss so that it looked like clear water. With these unusual measures, the designer epoxy resin table became unique and the customer received his personal dream table from us with the unique number 161. Unique epoxy resin table made of root with amber, unique piece no. 137

This exclusive designer epoxy resin table has a massive 300 x 120 cm table top grown in one piece from beautiful root and tree trunk wood from a giant Kauri tree. We used our special epoxy resin to consolidate the cracked, porous and primal root wood into a solid and compact unit. We left the root end of the table top as it had grown and filled it with epoxy resin so that the table could be used as a functional dining table. This allowed us to preserve the fascinating and unique natural characteristics of the root. Thanks to this technique, our customer's dining area is now adorned with this designer table, an extraordinary natural work of art and a unique one-off table that now serves as a dining table. Another special natural feature of this epoxy resin table is the gold-colored amber present in the Kauri root wood, which now "shines" in the transparent epoxy resin and is a fascinating eye-catcher. This precious natural material further enhances the table.

For this extravagant design table with the solid table top made of 47,000-year-old porous Kauri root wood, we first reduced the large naturally grown opening in the middle of the extraordinary table top with pieces of bark from other Kauri woods and then consolidated these and the entire porous table top into a solid unit with our high-quality epoxy resin. We also straightened the left end with the beautiful natural tree edge with epoxy resin according to the customer's wishes in order to retain the characteristics of the unique root wood so that the table can also be used as an easy-care dining table. For this designer coffee table, we have encased 2900-year-old Kauri root wood in high-quality epoxy resin so that it looks as if the wood is floating in epoxy resin.
