During the lifetime of the Kauri tree, liquid tree resin dripped into the root and the resin hardened over the course of thousands of years.

In the exhibition we present the fascinating world of natural artworks and exclusive design tables made from special thousand-year-old root swamp wood. This unique exhibition of artworks made from New Zealand Kauri wood, the first to be held in Germany, presents the beauty of nature in a masterful way and is immortalized in extraordinary works of art.

During the exhibition, you will have the opportunity to purchase these majestic works of art and unique tables directly from the manufacturer and without a retail surcharge. All tables and works of art are made to a very high quality by us as master carpenters, are moisture-resistant and do not need to be maintained!

The free exhibition will take place on a "small scale" without further advertising. It is organized exclusively for people who enjoy art objects that come from beautiful nature.
It is non-binding for you, i.e. even if you have no intention of buying.
A short registration by phone or e-mail would be helpful, but not absolutely necessary. If you are unable to attend on these days, you can also visit our Designtisch Manufaktur on other days by prior arrangement.

Design table Delivery with crane
The delivery of a design table to the 6th floor of an apartment building was spectacular. The stairwell and elevator were too small to bring the table top to the location. A crane had to be hired in advance to transport the table top. This was then lowered onto the terrace of the floor, from where the precious piece of furniture could then be rolled into the dining area...
...the 250 x 150 cm table top was then carried onto the table frame and attached. The table top forms a harmonious unit with the modern table frame and now serves its owner as a special dining table.
The table top is made entirely from a 2900-year-old piece of burl wood. Equipped with a moisture-resistant surface from us, the table can be used every day without any moisture stains.
Only in exceptional cases is it necessary to deliver such furniture with a crane or roof lift. In almost all cases, delivery is problem-free, usually one person is sufficient, as we are equipped with appropriate trolleys.
Photo shoot from a 4 m table
The exhibition table is a 4.00 x 1.30 m table in the neighboring Bauerncafe Mönichshof. In order to be able to stage the wooden table for photography, we first had to create space for it to have the right effect. Placed in the middle of the room, it now looks majestic and could be photographed from a large ladder.
Large table top made from one piece of root and tree trunk wood
In the Bauerncafe, the table is used as a sample table to show our customers the difference between burl wood and tree trunk wood. In the front area you can see the unique natural characteristics of the root wood and in the back area the tree trunk part with a calm appearance. The table top is grown completely in one piece. The customer can choose the natural character for their desired table.
Tables of this size can also serve as an unusual dining table if the room is large enough and the table can make an impact. However, it is more suitable as a prestigious conference table that has a lasting effect on guests and customers.

Exhibition of designer tables in large basilica
In May 23, I had a special place in the exhibition to show my work to a sophisticated audience: In the large basilica church in the altar area of Eberbach Monastery. I was able to impressively showcase the three designer wooden tables made of artistic burl wood, a coffee table and two sculptures.
The Eberbach Monastery with its beautiful ambience was a great place for us exhibitors to present our work. All exhibitors showed their own handmade products. As a result, the range was of a very high quality and the visitors were rewarded for coming.
Special designer tables made from burl wood
In the foreground you can see a table made of 3700 year old burl wood with polished epoxy resin fillings, which bring out the cast-in burl wood and gold-colored amber crystal clear and offer a special eye-catcher in the table top. In the background, an extraordinary table top made of 2900-year-old Kauri burl wood with beautiful natural characteristics and two sculptures that are also suitable as coffee tables.
